Licences and exact corresponding source
Chess V1 Safari field harness, modifications 19 September 2026, GPL-3.0-or-later. This experimental bundle is separate from the public chess application. No warranty; see the GNU General Public License version 3.
- A and B: unchanged Stockfish 11, sf11-candidate-v1. Original authors T. Romstad, M. Costalba, J. Kiiski, G. Linscott and contributors. GPL-3.0-or-later. Exact threaded corresponding source and build instructions.
- C: sf11-nonpthread-experiment-v1, based on the same official SF11 commit c3483fa9a7d7c0ffa9fcc32b467ca844cfb63790. Chess V1 project browser adaptation 16 September 2026 and synchronous threading/hash-clear modifications 19 September 2026. Exact non-pthread corresponding source, patches and reproducible build instructions.
- Emscripten runtime and upstream notices, applicable to both engine variants.
- Exact harness/application adapter preferred source, build scripts, pinned dependency source and licence materials. The harness uses unchanged application Engine/rules/profile code. The persistent controller is experimental.
- chess.js 1.4.0, Copyright (c) 2025, Jeff Hlywa (jhlywa@gmail.com), BSD-2-Clause. Full chess.js copyright and licence. Exact package and upstream source are included in harness source.
Every runtime and source download is pinned in the file manifest. Source archives include original notices. Compiler sources/binaries are referenced by exact pinned URLs/hashes. No source offer depends on access to a private Git repository. No NNUE is used.
This page and experiment make no external requests. There is no telemetry, upload, browser storage, fingerprinting, account or backend. Static delivery still requires a network connection; no application access log is configured. No results are automatically sent.
